HAND Launches the new HMIS Support Portal
Effective September 1, 2022, we are officially launching our new HMIS Helpdesk platform which allows us to respond to your
HMIS issues more efficiently. In addition to utilizing streamlined forms when
submitting Help Desk tickets, the HMIS Support Portal also includes knowledge base
functionality which provides a collection of articles written by the HAND HMIS
staff about common HMIS related issues. Checking the knowledgebase before
submitting a ticket can help you solve some issues on your own without having
to wait for a response from the HMIS staff. As an added benefit, the platform
also offers community-based forums, which allows members to raise and/or engage
in a variety of discussion topics of interest, need, information exchange, or services.
IMPORTANT NOTES!!! - When submitting tickets through the portal, DO NOT include any client protected personal information (PPI) in
the description field. This includes client names, ssn’s, dates of birth, etc.
If you must share identifying information on a client, it MUST be done in a secure manner using the designated (EPHI) encrypted fields or by attaching a password-protected file through the secure portal.
- Please remember that the Community Hub is suited for 'public' type inputs and comments only! DO NOT use the hub to discuss agency specific issues or share any personally identifiable client information.
