Enter Data As

Entering Data As (EDA) & Backdate?

When do I use Enter Data As (EDA)?

When inputting data into Community Service, remember to always select the correct "Enter Data As," or EDA, provider. You should click on Enter Data As to enter EDA mode every time you login to Community Service for data entry if you are not default into the correct provider bin. If you fail to use the EDA function, much of the data you record will not populate into the reports for your provider, or Community Services may not function as smoothly as possible.

Note: You do not need to be in EDA mode to run reports in Business Objects.

When do I use Back Date?

A user should enter into back date mode only if they are not entering data in real time.

Please click the attachment and follow the steps to enter these modes before you data entry into HMIS.
