Missing / Expired ROIs


An ROI is the HMIS Client Consent that allows sharing of client’s data according to the provisions outlined in the ROI document. It is important to remember that without an active ROI in HMIS, the data relating to the client’s entry into your program will not be visible outside your project page.

Although special provisions were put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic to allow for a 30-day verbal release (eROI), it is important that you make every attempt possible to gain a signed ROI from the client and upload, if possible, to the HMIS. This signed ROI is good for 2 years after obtaining the client’s signature on the document
